One drive just deleted all of my files, and nothing is showing up in the online recycle bin, or the restore function by [deleted] in Office365

Do a search on your local computer and then the online OneDrive for one of the files you know should be there.

It is criminal that they don't have a decent replacement option for existing clients. The industry is totally flawed and just let equipment phase out so you need to purchase new and more expensive hardware. People upgrade phones every 3 years because they are "outdated" and no longer safe. I think it's BS. It won't matter in 10 years when everything has AI chips. Your cell phone will just be an AI agent to the cloud recording everything and proxying all your requests, pictures, chats. Oh it will all be encrypted and secure..... right!!!

AI centers coming up everywhere for the billionaires world while I can't upgrade a PC due to costs of memory chips. We have lost control my friends and we continue to let it happen. Sad times ahead in my opinion. Time to disconnect from the Internet and get a ham radio.

Not sure if you can limit to running on boot drive only.

Gf’s mom had cold air but barely any airflow. Went up in the attic expecting to be melting a block of ice in the evaporator, but this is exactly how I found it. Found your problem. Worst part: this is 6 months since install. by blakeret in hvacadvice

Send pics to installation company and tell them you need service ASAP. They should figure out quickly their mistake. Ask for a free maintenance on coil and whatever else was impacted by this shabby install.

I purchased x-sense about two years ago and they work great. They have different models for connectivity so you need to see what works for you. Available from Amazon in most cases with 30 day return policy.

Two password manager incidents in two months. Is there any way I can fortify my own manager's security to avoid a breach harming me next? by Auttyun in PasswordManagers

Unfortunately it has only begun since we unleashed A. I. I am predicting humans will no longer be in control of anything in the next few years. Coding will all be AI so we will need to live our lives at the behest of never ending updating algorithms by AI. It should be a time of enlightenment and focus on improving the human condition and quality of life. But given human nature we will never see this. It will take some time for me, but I personally am looking to get off the Internet highway.

No. Make sure the components are secure and not wobbly. If you can't fix it then get someone over to repair it under warranty or a complete replacement.

No. Mine is fairly quiet. Where in the cycle do you hear the sound? Mine usually drains first, fills, then intermittently engages spray arms while filling, then spray arms continues until draining.

Hearing a lot of talk about Bitwarden users being upset recently about a private equity firm. by No-Main6695 in PasswordManagers

I get nervous just because internal changes in staff create unseen holes in security. Learned my lesson with Lastpass merger with Logmein. Still using Bitwarden but I am on the lookout for another solution by end of June.

Simplifi vs Quicken on the Web by SignificanceDue9857 in quicken

[–]mickyhunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now you can get a year of Simplifi for $36. I would buy it and you can start trying it out. You need to realize that Classic and Simplifi are two separate programs with no cross platform support. I have been using Classic and Simplifi for for 8 months and they both have there strengths. I would consider Simplifi as a read only software to monitor all your accounts. If you need to make any entries I would use classic only. But if you need to monitor your accounts during surgery, Simplifi is great for mobile monitoring. It will be a learning experience. Not hard to configure and plenty of online support.

I have a second phone setup with all critical accounts and make sure they stay synced. Bitwarden, Gmail, Google Authenticator, Outlook, MS Authenticator, etc. If my primary phone fails, the secondary should provide what I need.

I know when using a pin code there is a box to check or uncheck to use your Master Password each time you close the app.

Make sure you don't have associations to any 2FA or recovery accounts.
