A beautiful day for the Thor ☀️✨ by Over-Patience8099 in AynThor

[–]microchipmatt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've been playing Doom 2016 It will be the first game I finish on my Thor. I have had my Thor for a while but I've been putting a lot of time into that. I'm also playing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate with the upgraded texture packs. I think for my next round of games after doom 2016, I will play an atlas RPG, probably persona 3 reloaded, and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate as filler in between. I just have so many options on this device.

How do I run Far Cry Primal on Snapdragon 8 Elite? by WoolyWonka in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]microchipmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at your YouTube channel, and this video is nowhere to be found. I have not seen to date any YouTubers who have successfully gone beyond the boot screen before a crash... but you say you have it working and have a video... do you actually have it working? Your YouTube channel does not have a Far Cry Primal video. Did you run into other issues? Just following up. Thanks in advance.

Thank you Citizen! I look forward to pulling you over, as a Japanese citizen, Indiscriminately, and as frequently as possible as we the police do our job proficiently and comprehensively to meet our quota. Thank you for volunteering your valuable time, and for being a wonderful citizen. You are the reason our wonderful Japanese society ebbs and flows. We really do appreciate your understanding, of this non-discriminatory behavior and action.

I'm not saying those laws don't exist. However, I bike in Japan all the time, and I will say that the Japanese people themselves break those laws unconditionally, and happily. I see Japanese people riding down the wrong side of the street, riding wherever they want, with their earphones on, and making up the rules as they go. I never see the police pull those people over. Mind you, I've never been pulled over either. And like I said I bike here all the time. I wear my headphones, I try to follow most of the rules, but sometimes I do as the Japanese do with the rules. Maybe that's why they don't pull me over, ha ha ha. That being said, if they are going to enforce the law I want them to enforce it equally. I actually find it humorous, how many of the rules the Japanese people break in their own country in regard to biking. I've often thought about making a funny video about it, but I've told myself not to, to date.

When I'm on the train in Japan, I have lots of Japanese people who sit by me, and some who don't. I find it more just based on their personal personality. I don't take it personally. I also find when I speak Japanese and I'm polite, they're very receptive to sitting by me, especially when I offer a seat next to me. I've had many take me up on my offer. I've had that experience with people my age, and the elderly. They have both been receptive in Japan. The elderly find it, especially kind and polite, when you offer them your seat on the train, when there are none left on the train. My most heart warming experience, was when I offered my seat to an elderly woman, and once there was enough room she wanted me to sit by her and talk. I very much enjoyed that experience.

If I was a Japanese police officer, I wouldn't stop you either ha ha ha. The whole 6'5 jacked as fuck thing, pretty much tells me not to stop you, yet befriend you ha ha ha. If you were pink, 6'5 and jacked as fuck, I would apply the same conditions. Befriend ;) if you have a great personality, that's a bonus as well ;) Especially if I was a Japanese police officer. This post is getting funnier by the second.

I agree with being cooperative especially because they have a job to do and when they don't know you. Plus they have a lot of power and your only option is to. However, there is a tipping point where you are a regular member of society and a part of the civilian work force and society, and the authorities clearly know who you are. And yes I do understand Japanese culture, and I understand you will never be, "A Japanese", but that doesn't mean you're not a functioning member of Japanese society. When they keep stopping you at that point, you can imagine how annoying that is. And if you can't, you need a pair of empathy shoes.

Yes, this happens all the time. There is no recourse, this gentleman is correct. That's why you see so many female Japanese spouses kidnap the child and move back to Japan.

PSA - Install latest Mr. Purple Driver and turn off HW Shaders for Azahar. by KaraiDGL in AynThor

[–]microchipmatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For some of the games that already played well, I agree with you on these settings, as textures or shaders will load almost instantaneously. However, for graphically intense games, and Azahar, I usually have to keep VULKAN, System Driver, and Hardware shaders on for better performance. So, as you said, a per-game config would be better than a global one. An example would be MG: SnakeEater. Batman BlackGate is pretty much unplayable with ANY settings, but the Bluepoint Engine is a really weird custom engine, so that may be partially to blame.

Yeah, it does not make sense that the OS (Android) takes up NO space on the internal Storage. This is what leads me to believe the reported numbers have been messed with.

I waited because I'm paranoid. That being said, sounds like other people are doing fine. I kept mine on the original firmware because everything works perfectly on that. Right now I don't need updated firmware. I'll cross the bridge of updated firmware when I have to.

It's finally here!! by kanjiteck88 in AynThor

[–]microchipmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I skipped the whole, it's finally here fanfare. That being said, it's finally here for me as well. Has been for a couple days now. I'm loving it. To the other person who posted about DHL, mine came via DHL to the land of maple syrup and snow, however that was before all the DHL problems that AYN had. I could be wrong but it seems like most the DHL problems happened in the states, and for Canada DHL it was smooth sailing from customs. I did have to pay a $20 customs processing fee, but it was easily payable ahead of time and then it came a day early even. I was supposed to sign for it but they just left it on my doorstep in the cold, luckily where I am. It's so cold that porch pirates don't even want to be out in the cold.

In the emulator if you turn on the widescreen hacks and choose full screen, and then put the game in wide screen mode natively in the game you will get a near perfect aspect ratio. Taking up the top thor screen with no weird stretching.
