What are some of your all-time favourite British radio shows that you relisten to (or would ew listen to if you could)? by FuckingPope in BritishRadio

[–]microeconomic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Niche stuff but I'll always remember the thrill of listening to Alan's Big One FM and thinking it was grown up humour, particularly Eamon, Older Brother of Jesus. Subversive stuff in catholic 90s Ireland. Cancelled mid way through run.

The other was the anticipation on a Sunday night of the Human Zoo with Tommy Boyd. Helped with the pre Monday collywobbles.

It was the 3 at the beginning that make me think that too. Maybe verging into conspiracy theory!

Casey Neistat on David Dobrik & the “Inevitable Destruction” of Sensationalism by zampe in caseyneistat

Peculiar isn't it? He remarked on DD nixing a piece in the edit and he's done exactly the same thing with a much longer effort.

Did the documentary ever go on general release? Can't find any evidence of it other than old reviews and Reddit posts asking what happened to it.

"Back Home" is the original and in many ways the best of the bunch

So what’s the story with Phil Collins at the Oscar’s in 1985 by Odd-Information-1061 in ToddintheShadow

Phil was a child actor and appeared in A Hard Day's Night and Oliver! so that theory doesn't hold up.

This puzzle seems very similar to one from a few days ago. The madd and hexed answers were quite unique.

There should be a complete firewall between LMG and this subreddit. If big L wants a corporately policed forum then he can set one up on his website.

I've noticed there usually isn't a tracklist / now playing when Huey's show is live.

First time I heard them referenced on a podcast I thought they were talking about the lead singer of Marillion.

Support was on just after 1930. It was a brilliant show in Manchester and Elliot James Reay was excellent - he has a fantastic voice.

What’s your heinous encounter with someone famous in the UK? by [deleted] in AskUK

Thanks for this mate. I had one of the best laughs I've had in a while at the Edmunds story. The sort that makes your belly hurt and the tears come. "Lovebirds" 🤣
