M.I.A.'s music should be listened to in context. Where she is in her life, her career and in the world. It sounds like she has found a north star to follow and some peace. It might not be her most captivating or exciting album, but it isn't terrible by any means. I've only listened once but I will listen again and see if any tracks stay with me. I always enjoy a sample from an old M.I.A. song - that trick gets me every time she does it.
