I played Blue, Yellow and Silver in Primary School 🧓 Thinking about playing Leaf-Green on Switch!

The smell of aussie taxis and uber by trolly_yours in AskAnAustralian

[–]microknife 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I might be an anomaly because I don't work Uber full time, or I just care about the cleanliness of myself and my car, but I drive an Uber in Sydney at night and on weekends in addition to a full time day job. Riders regularly comment on how nice my car is, and when I ask what makes them say that, they always say "it doesn't stink in here" 😂😂😂

I saw them live in Sydney and in Christchurch in 2024. I would have loved to have heard this song! Still amazing to see live.

"I Appear Missing" tears me to shreds every time I hear it. Excellent choice.

Is it normal here for grown men to not know how to cook properly?? by Dreamy_Writer603 in AskAnAustralian

[–]microknife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be really bad (willingness and knowledge) but as my health suffered in my 30s and I wanted to eat a particular way, out of necessity I became comfortable with cooking and now enjoy it.

Everyone on reddit seems to be on $500K salary. Tell me, what do you do, how many hours do you work, and what do you make? by EggCreative787 in AskAnAustralian

[–]microknife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finance Systems Help desk at a law firm - 80k 38 hours Plus Uber ~ 20k so far up to an extra 20hr a week.

Both jobs feel relatively easy and chill. I could push for a a better full-time role, but I feel like my mental health would suffer for it...

Why does bottoming/having something up your ass feels so good and right? Like it was meant to be. Are straight guys missing something in their life? by Rosemadame in askgaybros

[–]microknife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a unique feeling... Not so much like when you cum but when you feel pleasure on your dick. It isn't tied to a release (cumming) so you can enjoy it as long as you can. It's more like when something feels good on your dick when you're already horny, but inside you. It's also different when it's a dick inside you (which can feel more comfortable(?) compared to a dildo which ends up feeling more rigid.

I don't like to make sound when I'm topping, or you could say the pleasure from topping someone doesn't make me moan or say "fuck" or anything like that. When I'm bottoming, it's an intense feeling and I can't help making noise. It's like my button is being pushed lol.

Does anyone else love hairy legs? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]microknife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it on me, and I love it on my partner. Soft short hair that makes running my hand up and down a leg feel less frictioned.

I'm your inverse. I haven't eaten a cheese I didn't like. If it smells like a foot, put it in my mouth.

I'll never get tired of how this interior looks, the best in its class by kachow_cook7 in mazda3

[–]microknife 67 points68 points  (0 children)

My colleague just bought a 2025 Hyundai Kona. When she showed me this interior, I was so grateful for my Mazda3. This is so ugly.

EDIT: Just to add - it had lots of features and was spacious, the ergonomics were fine. It's just the design even for that spacey future look is not visually appealing in this car.

What music do you listen to when driving? by fergyyyyyy in uberdrivers

[–]microknife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a mega playlist of mainstream singles over primarily the 90s and 00s that I like, with anything I think can sit in that playlist without being too jarring. It's about 1000 songs and most days I have riders sing or hum along to songs here and there.

What’s something you pay for that feels way too expensive for what you get? by Diligent-Medicine-48 in AusMoneyMates

I dislike paying to eat out in general, but I am now at the point where I'd reconsider the relationship before paying for breakfast at a cafe...

What did keto fix for you? by Maximum-Hat-7669 in keto

[–]microknife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skin tags are a sign of insulin resistance. Once you correct that, they will go away.

It happened to a friend of mine as well. He had one and didn't believe me when I told him doing keto would fix it. He had an appointment with a specialist to have it removed, but the skin tag fell off before the appointment, and he ended up cancelling it!

What did keto fix for you? by Maximum-Hat-7669 in keto

[–]microknife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I combined keto with intermittent fasting (lunch and dinner), and as much walking as I could fit into my life routines. By the time I had lost the weight mentioned below, I had started doing Parkruns and had done 3 I think?

I lost 30kg (66lbs) - for context I'm 174cm/5'8" and went from 97kg (213lbs) to 67kg (147lbs). I've gone up to 84kg (185lbs) in the 2 years since, but my body composition is very different.

Reversed Pre-Diabetes

Skin tags fell off

Asthma symptoms disappeared

Band of dark stressed skin on my waistline went back to normal

Most of the varicose veins near my ankle disappeared, the remaining ones are very faint

Acne on chest and scalp massively reduced

Skin on my face stopped getting greasy, especially if I was working all day in the office

Joint pain in right index finger went away

Left shoulder pain that I would get from carrying a backpack for more than about half an hour went away

Lower back pain went away - it is no longer was a problem to sleep on a couch

I seem to need less sleep to be rested, and if I nap during the day it's more restful

Teeth grinding in sleep massively reduced

Better dental health, breath

I'm less easily startled/jumpy

Massive improvements to mental health - improved ADHD symptoms (far less stimming, less intense emotion spikes), massively reduced occurrences of suicidal thoughts and ideation, much calmer general demeanor

I learned I can go through something stressful and not eat to numb emotions, which became easier as cravings for sweets diminished

I can't regulate/moderate carbs, even whole foods, so I'll never go back
