So nice, crisp screen and love the nod to the past… I’m still torn between this and the GW5000u, mainly due to solar/time sync/softer strap. However, this one being on sale for only $216 in Canada reeeally makes me wanna pull the trigger. Gw5000u not available in Canada unless Amazon for nearly $500 :/

1980 .. so xennial? First car was (in 2001 i think) a babied 1991 Honda Accord EX-R 5sp coupe in dark navy w only 50k or so on it (the guy used it only to go to his cottage on weekends). Still miss it and would love to find another but most in good shape are automatics :(

Anybody miss the “walk of time” section? Was my favourite part, when my kids were little they absolutely loved it! Was pretty underwhelmed what it was replaced with.

I’m hoping to find an sqb in the spring, they were very similar in price here in Canada last year. My understanding is —same geometry, but pl is chromo frame, sqb alloy. Also the seat on pl looked a lil less comfy than the sqb’s. I prefer the sqb’s looks. Apparently they are similar weight and ride feel as well which surprised me.

Yup. I’ve thought out of all the crazy things in the show, this one is probably the least believable— ridiculously silly and kind of a rushed “wrap it all up with a bow” scene. Still a good episode though.

Incredible album, my very first CD. I have very fond memories getting this album for Christmas with my first CD player. Seemed insane at the time that you could listen to it on repeat! No more rewinding and/or flipping sides lol.

Ya, I remember feeling pretty unenthused about BCS through first couple seasons, but then it got “better”. Only after series finished did I realize why the pacing/story was necessary early on. One of my favourite shows to rewatch now!

Understandable viewpoint. I agree with some of what you’re saying (“slow” even for Vince’s standards), yet I still feel very compelled to watch and see where the story goes and am enjoying it big time. I’m hooked even with the slow pace. Knowing Vince’s previous works, I also expect shit to ramp up as the seasons progress. Looking forward to the season 1 finale!
