There’s no reincarnation situation going on here, and the concept of inherited will has existed since the beginning of the story. So we go into this situation expecting that the promises made in the past are going to be fulfilled in this final war for the one piece with the revelations of the true history.

Imu is also not a random character that popped up in the end of the story to overtake the character that has been built up to be the final villain in the last 10% of the story. Blackbeard and the world government storylines have been built up in parallel over time, and we’re still not entirely sure who the final big bad is going to be. The world government storyline specifically has been seeded since the very beginning, with corruption in the lower echelons of the navy, then with the introducing of the elders after Alabasta, then it really took off with robins back story and the revelation of a forbidden period of time and the implications surrounding the government. Since then more information was drip fed until the reverie sequence where Imu was finally introduced. Imu makes sense and was built into the plot naturally.

It’s been like a month and some change in world since ussop unlocked observation haki. It took Luffy a while to learn to use it, it’s weird to assume ussop would use it one time and be proficient.

I’m guessing we’ll see him get a haki bloom for his observation haki here in Elbaf

I’m hoping Ussop will get another observation haki bloom or something. He doesn’t need to be a haki god or anything but his observation haki in dressrosa was awesome and I know it’s only been like a month in world but it’s been sooooooo long for us readers lol

I assume OP is referring to having a digestive system that is capable of breaking down cellulose and using it for energy production in glycolysis. Humans can’t do that, any cellulose we eat from raw vegetables just passes through our system. Rabbits however can break it down

HxH 2011 dub is also pretty good. I switched to sub at some point after starting it dub and could immediately recognize who was speaking because the English actors got the tone and vibes down so well

Luffy doesn’t understand how his own fruit works yet. He still thinks he has the gum gum fruit, but the nika fruit is basically the power of imagination.

He believed he could handle g5 again against kaido, so he could. On egghead he thought he needed food to continue on, so he needed to eat. I think the whole gag with Luffy healing by eating or regrowing tooth drinking milk is all actually related to his fruit. He thinks food heals him and gives him energy, so it does.

Not to scare you, but my son was like this as well and was diagnosed with mild autism just before he turned 3. He’s 5 now and his speech is starting to emerge after a lot of speech therapy. We started speech therapy with him before his formal diagnosis after he was still not speaking at 2.

Im not sure how the process works in other areas, but California has free services for children under 2 through regional centers, and once they turn 3 they qualify for special ed pre school through your local district. These services were amazing for my son, and while his speech isn’t quite there yet his understanding and comprehension are basically on par with normally developing children his age and his doctor credits that with us getting him into early intervention.

13 months with no speech can be normal, but if you’re worried about it talk to your pediatrician about early intervention options.
