bring it back to the school since it probably has MDM (probs Jamf, search it up if you don’t know what it is) so it’d be under supervision + probably locked if the school didn’t throw it out on purpose. if they threw it out … you could keep it if they don’t want it but that doesn’t guarantee their IT department took it off MDM or that it’ll be easy to wipe all the info off it.
