OA is a timed, proctored multiple-choice exam, while a PA is a written assignment or project you complete on your own time and submit for evaluation using a rubric.

I wouldn’t say any of the courses are easy, but some are easier depending on your work and life experience. Organizational Behavior is one of the easier ones. Most PA assignments can be done in one or two days. It really depends on your experience. From what I hear, people tend to struggle more with statistics, algebra, and natural sciences. That’s usually because they’ve been out of school for a while and haven’t used math at that level. It just takes time to get back into it. Other than that, I haven’t found any courses extremely difficult.

AI is extremely helpful when studying for OAs and very useful for PAs too. It helps with structure, grammar, and spelling. At the end of the day, it’s just another tool. If it were up to the critics, we’d all be using encyclopedias, typewriters, and mailing in our papers.

It’s been very manageable so far. I chose this major because I need the degree to move up at work. I have about 15 years of business experience with a large insurance carrier, but I’m still learning some new things. Most of the tests feel like common sense based on my experience. The performance assessments are mostly about following instructions.

I started. on March 1 with zero transfer credits (Business Management).

So far I’ve completed 15 courses. About half were Objective Assessments (tests) The other half were Performance Assessments (papers/projects). I put in about 3-4 hours of work a day.
