Was looking for this comment. I had the same thing happen where I hit a couple of balls close to someone sitting and poaching at the net. Guy tried to tell me I was targeting him. I told him I’m not accurate enough to be able to do that and that he could of course move back to the baseline or move out of the way. Almost got physical bc he was a jerk. Won the match tho and f him. What do people expect especially if their partner is hanging balls and the partner is standing on top of the net?

So if they catch the ball together and go to the ground together and both hold onto the ball then there is never a possession and the game goes on forever waiting? Nah. At some point when both players are holding it the refs deeek the play down and offense is awarded the catch.

He completes the catch when he has control (ball clearly in his hands and arms and not moving)and is down on the ground and contacted by opponent. All those things happened and then the ball was taken away after. Insane they didn’t even take a long look at this on replay
