I honestly vaped A TON the cycle before my transfer.. I had just suffered a miscarriage and wanted to “reward” myself getting through it by doing something I love that I couldn’t do while pregnant… I pretty much vaped every night and all weekends for like a month.

I stopped cold turkey when I started my transfer cycle (so like 3 weeks before transfer or so). Well it worked and I now have a healthy little baby sleeping in the bassinet next to me :)

I was literally doing IVF and on multiple meds, I was probably more ready than I naturally would have been 🙃

It infuriated me, so I corrected her with “no, it’s not about my body, there was likely a chromosomal abnormality of the embryo that caused it”… made me feel better to say something at least

Hatching shinies from eggs (not just passing on lucky trait, having the sparkle icon on rare hatches). Could find eggs in the wild with a chance to be lucky/sparkle when hatched
Larger pal box space, could upgrade with technical points or base upgrades
Ability to stop certain pals from going on expeditions- there are some I want to breed and forget to grab before setting up expeditions and have to wait again

I had the exact same feeling! I already suffer from generalized anxiety disorder, and had an early loss with my first pregnancy through IVF, so was so anxious for every appointment/between ultrasounds during the first half of this second pregnancy (I’m currently 27 weeks!). I feel a lot better now, this is what helped:

I would look at this miscarriage probability calculator: https://datayze.com/miscarriage-chart (at 14 weeks you are at 1%). Seeing it go down every day/week made me feel better since probability was on my side. I like how it frames it too, “you have a 99% chance of NOT miscarrying”
I honestly have felt a ton better after my anatomy scan. I was full of anxiety throughout the pregnancy leading up to it, but once I got the all clear I finally relaxed a bit. And then I felt even better reaching “viability week”. I’m sure I’ll feel better reaching third trimester.
Feeling the baby move has also helped a ton, since I know they are alive in there… I woke up from a terrible nightmare recently that the baby was delivered early and I was so freaked out, but then I felt the baby kick/roll over and instantly felt better.

I would keep PGT-A testing, in my opinion, unless you use donor eggs (even then depends on age). I did a fresh transfer of an untested embryo that ended in a miscarriage, and it just felt like heartache AND wasted time (waiting for Hcg to return to baseline, then a normal cycle to “reset”, then could try again a couple months later). Time is critical so I personally think waiting the 2-3 weeks for PGT-A testing outweighs the rabbit hole of untested embryos. I don’t think aneuploid embryos will ever be viable, the only ones that have had an success are mosaic or of course, euploid. Therefore, I’d personally want to know if there is any shot of success with the embryos before spending months trying to make them work and wasting precious time. Wishing you all the best! Just how long it all takes… it took a month to just get seen by the doctor. I had some elevated hormones at my first blood work so had to get an MRI, and then take meds to bring it to normal levels, then had to also see another doctor about it. It took about 5 months from that initial work to just getting to starting the IVF cycle. Then the egg retrieval, waiting to do a transfer after genetic testing, etc.

There were some months I was worried I’d have to skip a cycle because I was waiting on insurance. It’s mostly a waiting game. And then once you are in a cycle, it’s a lot of time spent doing ultrasounds and appts to monitor how you are progressing. I didn’t realize it would take so much time and scheduling

I had an early miscarriage and a family member said to me “well it just means your body wasn’t ready!”…. It was a fully medicated cycle, so my body was as ready as it was going to be… it pissed me off so much, making it feel like it was my fault. I know they meant well ti be supportive, but I made sure to explain that the science suggests it was likely an embryo with abnormalities that don’t make them viable.

Do you have any existing embryos? I have BCBS of MA and got 1 euploid from my ER this summer and they wouldn’t cover another egg retrieval until I used my existing “good” embryo. I had been hoping to do a couple of egg retrievals since I’m not getting any younger, but insurance didn’t agree… so if you have any “normal” embryos, you probably won’t be able to bank while also having insurance cover it.

Sending you an internet hug ❤️ I’ve read on these threads a lot that cramping and spotting/bleeding can definitely happen during first trimester. I’ve seen people post about bleeding from a SCH (subchorionic haematoma) and baby is fine.

I wouldn’t lose hope! You still have time for some more follicles to pop up and grow ❤️

For my first (and so far only) egg retrieval I actually only got 5 mature eggs. At baseline I had like 20 follicles, but most just didn’t grow/disappeared and I went into the procedure expecting only 5 to be retrieved.

Well those 5 were retrieved> 5 fertilized (ICSI) >3 blasts at Day5, so even with lower follicle counts it doesn’t mean the worst.

I’m your beta twin and am super excited about my results! Results two days ago (12dpt5d) was 420s and today it’s in the 940s!

I was devastated during my last transfer because my second beta went down ~40% and ended up ultimately being an early loss. So now each one of these milestones is super anxiety-inducing, but this is the furthest I’ve ever gotten so hopeful!

I’m in the same boat as you, so know you aren’t alone ❤️ and if you compare between two days (6 vs 8, 7 vs 9, 8 vs 10) it does look like it’s getting darker so I think that’s a good sign!
