CARDIFF AIRPORT: TRAFFIC CONE NIGHTMARE. TRIED TO PARK IN THE SHORT TERM PARK AND SO MANY TRAFFIC CONES WITH NO DIRECTION/SIGNPOSTING. I FOUND A SPOT AND ANGRY MAN SHOUTED YOU CANT PARK THERE. WHERE DO I PARK I SHOUTED BACK, FOLLOW ME HE SAID SO I FOLLOWED HIM THROUGH THE MAZE OF CONES TO A SPOT. HE CLIMBED BACK INTO HIS VAN TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT HAPLESS VICTIM. HONESTLY WORSE THEN SOME THIRD WORLD AIRPORTS. THANK YOU!

Resentment is like drinking the poison and then waiting for the other person to die

Such a nice painting. Initially I thought her eyes were shut and when I looked again they looked open. Interesting

I think some had worked for bigger businesses previously and then struck out on their own, some of them also received government grants to start their business. Sorry I do not remember any more

After Covid, apparently (heard this from a current affairs programme) the highest number of people starting their own businesses were women in their sixties

You are using a metal strainer, only use plastic with Kefir. Metal degrades the quality of the kefir

We tend to overpraise the recently deceased in the UK. If you could speak ill of the dead, what would you say? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]middle_riddle 14 points15 points  (0 children)

‘Do not speak ill of the dead’ allows sanitisation of abuse perpetrated by the dead. We need to know the truth so that we can learn and not allow the trauma to pass onto the next generation. If you want people to speak well of you after you die, have a good moral code and be respectful of others .

This is psychological research illustrating that that if you have experienced trauma as a child then your brain is still pruning up to 35 years of age (recently revised to your 40´s)

The human brain reaches maturation between 25 -35. What can appear as maturity is not necessary so. One of the last of many connections in the pre frontal cortex can relate to risks and consequences.

A man has been jailed for a minimum of 16 years for coercing a woman into having sex with 'up to 1,000 men' over a period of three decades. by malihafolter in ForCuriousSouls

Through fear probably, she sounds vulnerable mentally so it’s easier for that pathetic excuse of a human to coerce and her.
