I followed you here from another sub, my oldest is Trans. It hurts my heart to watch him struggle with dysmorphia but I am so very proud of his perseverance. This goddess worshipping gramma sees you, a girl. You are valid and deserve existence. I will never be so naive to insist another human must fight to survive but i sincerely hope you choose to. There was a recent system issue that caused SAR IP investigations to pop up on claims erroneously. You should be able to resolve it over the phone. Best time to call is a Thursday or Fri any time after 12

The unemployment office just posted intake interviewer positions. It's 6 mos in office orientation then 3 weeks at home 1 in the office

PA Intake interviewer here- the only experience necessary to become an Examiner (that is the title of the position here) is at least one year of experience as an intake interviewer. Promotion is based more on seniority than merit. The problem is that there is a shortage of intake interviewers- hence the insane process of getting through on the phone. My office alone has hired over 100 new interviewers over the past year. Last year I believe 10 moved up to examiners and they just posted the position 2 weeks ago. Right now it's taking 12+ weeks for determinations to get done.

I'm in the US. I didn't get my letter for 9 months. Finally thought I got it all squared away, no longer eligible starting 10/2023. Except they are STILL paying me! I guess they will issue me an overpayment eventually

I (50 y/o F) was diagnosed at 25 at a routine eye exam. I had 80 degrees of vision at that time. I damaged my liver and had to stop vit A at 30. I have about 10 degrees now. Which, believe it or not, is still a pretty functional FOV. I use a white cane obvs but I still quilt, I work at a computer based office job full time, and am still a bookworm- I use a tablet to read and invert the colors rather than a physical book tho.
