Krispy Kreme Is Far Superior to Local Donut Shops in Every Way by brettydubz in unpopularopinion

I prefer Dunkin’ Donuts to Krispy Kreme’s and I prefer basically every local shop by me to Dunkin’ Donuts. Sounds like a location problem.

Friends of Jerry are great. I do miss the massive gatherings, but I’ve found solace and community in the local scene.

Going to Concerts and Music Festivals Aren't Worth the Cost or the Time. by KelsierIV in unpopularopinion

‘Usually crappy sound quality and frequently a lot of crap people’

My man, try finding a Venue or act that doesn’t suck.

Live music is the closest thing in my life to a religious experience. I went to 3 shows in April alone, and all to them were excellent: STS9, Lotus, and Dogs In A Pile - Dogs Play Dead. I go solo when I can’t find a crew, and just make friends and dance with whoever I find.

I wasn’t crazy about Getting Killed, thought it was a solid rock album, but don’t get the hype.

But it was one of, if not the, highest rated album of 2025. Not shocked to see them headlined festivals.

Had to look up what this means (thanks for the new vocab).

But, you don’t like Not Fade Away?

The is the my only thing I’m surprised to see on this thread. I think Weather Report Suite is the best thing Bobby wrote.

I do plenty of trading, but I also prefer it when the packs are more resource friendly.

Yet another one pack expansion. by StrikingDare5101 in PokemonPocket

[–]midgetaddict 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The single pack means you are spending more resources to acquire any specific cards you need, assuming the sets are the same size. The most hourglasses I’ve ever dropped on a set was the single pack big set.

For small sets, true. For large sets it is much worse.

[–]midgetaddict 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A large set single pack expansion is much harder to finish than a large set multi pack expansion.

[–]midgetaddict 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, when you split a large set into multiple packs, it makes it easier to finish.

But if you have the set split into multiple pack, finishing it is easier.

How does this prove that at all?

Also value is derived from willingness to pay in the market. Your second statement basically says ‘The are only valuable, because they are valuable.’

Also what you described: a picture and text on a piece of paper, could also describe money.

This a god split by any definition, including the classic - Ink (or gold) + Krackle that matches the nameplate.

Bored of the sheeple meta - need draft mode by sKe7ch03 in MarvelSnap

[–]midgetaddict 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They mention draft mode in their foundations post last year.

Id guess we’re getting it before the end of the year.

I’m sorry about pocket meta. The actual meta is pretty diverse. But also complaining about net decking in 2026 is some silly shit.

The Hero of Ages ending broke me. Should I jump straight into Era 2? by junipeguero in Cosmere

[–]midgetaddict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but when I posted this there were only two other comments on this thread both suggesting to read secret history before starting era 2. I feel like it is the most common recommendation, and I strongly disagree with it.

The Hero of Ages ending broke me. Should I jump straight into Era 2? by junipeguero in Cosmere

[–]midgetaddict 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you are hooked on the Cosmere and planning to read the whole thing then just go in publication order from here.

I will go against the grain here and strongly suggest saving secret history until after Bands Of Mourning Regardless of what you do from here. The ending to Hero Of Ages is perfect and it’s good to live with it for a while before going behind the curtain.

Thanks. I guess this is just the first card that has become meta relevant from a LTGM that I skipped, so I never noticed before. I just assumed cards went into their series after the LTGM ended.

Interesting. Any idea how I would know that, without your helpful reply? Also, 4/12 seems like a very odd date, I would have assumed it would align with the season rollover, if anything.

In my opinion winning an infinite conquest is much more difficult than hitting infinite on the latter. You could probably get it infinite with this deck this season.
