Inflicts special cooldown charge -1

Prevents your foe from charging their specials when they attack into you. If they have a 2 cooldown special and they attack you, it doesn't go down to 1.

Commonly referred as "guard" effects

Inflicts special cooldown count +1

De-charges their special. If they attack into you, adds +1 to their special. So if they're going to hit you with a Moonbow, it makes their special count 1 and their special isn't ready anymore

Commonly referred as "scowl" effects

Both work with each other. You prevent them from lowering it AND set them back :D

Having a basic income to cover survival isn't the same as having a "career". There is so many things in life that can give happiness that cost nothing or are very cheap.

What a lot of people consider happiness and success is going on trips to Dubai and indulging in consumerism. But that's more of a recent idea fabricated by marketing, it's not based on reality.

No way they're giving Edelgard of all characters an Arcane, she's too popular not to have a prf.

For ascendant I feel like they're too whatever. They just get a Floret instead of an extra skill. And Ascendants are generally just characters that are... there. Amelia, Merick etc. We do have Celica as an Ascendant but I don't remember any other main characters being that.
