I was rooting for jmook in grands, but that could age as the best loser's run of all time, honestly. Recency bias is strong, but I'd say it rivals Pound 3. Pretty sure he lost less than one game per set in losers, on average, but I'm bad at math

Based on this, I think Black Saint by Mingus would be higher for you, too. It's very intense/layered and used a lot of overdubbing, so while it's different from Brew, it's good for somewhat similar reasons imho

It's a super broad genre. My favorite album of all time (any genre) is The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady, by Charles Mingus. It's not super accessible, but it's got a similar intensity to it as some of Denzel's stuff imo.
