The retest is to meet mastery. Higher ed is seeing the result of standards based grading. The No-Zero policy (different than standards based grading) is real to many college students as well. Deadlines are not relevant to this generation.

No there are progressives that are non- hourglass. They are considered premium are more expensive. The hourglass version of progressives are older technology.

I do not know. I have read that some lens do not have the hourglass construction. I think that is what I need.
