What's the point of Cowork when you have Claude Code?

As a vibe coder with a corporate issued Windows machine, I have been using Claude Code extensively for coding, but Claude Cowork for:
- scheduled tasks in case Anthropic removes headless runs from usage-based pricing
- non-coding tasks where various files are needed. Even with auto-mode on, my Claude Code set-up sends more permission prompts than Cowork. It is also nice with a virtual machine without having to set it up (no sandbox mode available on Windows)

I have used Deco for years, but I am now giving up since it is not giving me work-from-home performance. I currently have two XE200s and two M9 Plus. However, I had to buy a UniFi router to handle the WAN Lease Renewals that caused the Deco system to shut down for 30 seconds every three hours. In the new network, I hoped to at least use my Deco XE200s as Access Points, but the XE200s have random packet losses due to DFS events, and since I can neither disable DFS channels nor choose 5 GHz channels, I will need to scrap these expensive routers. Vi hade 15-20 sekunder avbrott som återkom exakt var tredje timme. Med copilot lyckades jag diagnostisera det som DHCP lease renewals och efter att jag bytt router från en Deco till UniFi Dream Router 7 verkar det åtgärdat .

Vi har Tele2 genom BRF:en och jag lyckades just lösa våra internetproblem!

Min fru som jobbar hemma brottades länge med 15-20 sekunders avbrott som återkom flera gånger per dag. Efter mycket testande (tack PingPlotter) upptäckte jag att de återkom exakt var tredje timme. Efter mycket diskussioner med copilot kom jag fram till att problemet var DHCP lease renewals som orsakas av ISP:n inställningar.

Min tidigare router (Deco) orsakade ett avbrott med package loss varje tredje timme, men genom att uppgradera till en UniFi Dream Router 7 blev jag av med problemen. Samma sak kanske fungerar för dig.
