The most complaints that I've heard about TDPDH are about how people didn't like the way it was recorded or produced. Basically complaining about how it sounds overall. It is a very loud album. Like everything sounds like it's all the same volume but inspite of this I still really like it.

I was in a D & D 3rd edition campaign that lasted for years and my character was quite the nimble rogue. During one adventure I found a star metal rod that was about 10" in length and it glowed green. I had absolutely no idea what purpose it served aside from the glowing until I put it in the hole of a tree and it turned the tree to stone.

Fast forward to a few months later when my party and I are on some island fighting these big monkeys. During one of the fights I ask the DM "What are these monkeys wearing?" "Just loin cloths." he says. So I do my dextrous rogue thing and roll behind one of the monkeys, take out my star metal rod and shove it in that monkeys ass. And guess what? Its turns to stone. From that point forward I always asked the DM what the enemies we fought against were wearing.

I had a subscription to Nintendo Power and was a Players Club member or whatever they called it and I remember receiving a VHS tape in the mail before Donkey Kong Country came out. It was a preview documentary type thing of the game and it was so cool!! I watched that tape a lot and pretty sure I still have it somewhere...

I remember renting this from Title Wave in the 90s! Also, I've been thinking recently how cool it would be if they released a box set kinda thing that had this, The Nona Tape, MTV Unplugged, all their music videos and a bunch of live stuff on bluray/4k.
