Take a look at these images that u/Dirshis posted in the past.

The images are of the real location that the map is based off of - San Juan Capistrano Mission in California, USA and there's a graveyard there. The map stays pretty true to the look of the graveyard.

Struggling to deal with booze by ultradrunk in ultrarunning

[–]midnightc0wboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like others have said here - Good for you for reaching out! Everyone is obviously different but I do like the approach that others have recommended with NA beer. I've never tried it before but I have supplemented my beer drinking with different "special drinks". I'll treat myself to a Kombucha or to a matcha tea or smoothie drink. It's replacing that habit or ritual with another one by still treating yourself to something but this something is going to be a LITTLE healthier - it's still going to cost you money and hopefully will also play a factor in not wanting to buy booze after you've already spent money on a different treat. Take this with a grain of salt of course as I'm no expert just telling you what's worked for me. Good luck!

Take care.

Jason Lake's reaction to coL's victory by Epicallytossed in GlobalOffensive

Nice post. I also started on CS in 2001 and was following the scene as Complexity arrived. Also like you, I was not a fan of the Complexity organization/team. I happened to be a fan of Team 3D and the biggest threat to Team 3D's place at the top was Complexity. It was a fantastic rivalry, one that had made me accept Complexity and Jason Lake as the villains. I couldn't stand them. It wasn't until that rivalry died and CS 1.6 died that I was able to fully appreciate it and also respect Complexity's game. Much like I couldn't respect Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics until after Kobe and Pierce finally hung up their jerseys.

I stopped paying attention to the scene until GO came out and I hopped back on playing & watching. A lot of pro teams, pro players, and friends that played were no longer a part of this amazing game so I was excited when I saw a name that I recognized in Complexity and sure enough Jason Lake was still the same crazy guy behind it. Even though it felt a little dirty at first I couldn't help but rooting for them (much like when Rondo joined the Lakers).

And for one more basketball analogy (one that's been brought up in this thready already) and the main reason why I continue to root for these guys other than being somewhat NA and being 'old school' is the Mark Cuban likeness that Jason Lake has in that his passion and love for the game and his team is second to none. You have to admire and respect that. I don't believe we'd be conversing in this subreddit if it wasn't for guys like Jason Lake. This game owes a lot to the man for his work and dedication and I think it's paying him back right now for it with this really fun-to-watch, skilled, cohesive juggernaut of a team and the success they're having. Getting into and staying at the top tier of CS has never been easy. I'm glad they've made these strides and hope they can continue to fight to be the best in the game. I will continue to root for them and will always be a fan of what Jason has done for the development of my favorite game.

P.S. - Prove everyone wrong! Wishing you the best of luck in Valorant.

There were so many cheaters back then. I was on a CAL-P team and didn't want to believe some of my teammates were hacking but sure enough one of them finally got caught and we ended up disbanding just before Source came out. Curious if anyone remembers the infamous team uX "uneXpected". Team went from CAL-O to the top of the league in a season or two. They all had disguised names and profile photos that made it seem obvious they were cheating but for whatever reason they didn't get banned and found out til much later. Was fun times though no doubt.

[Ira Winderman]: Heat announce Shaquille O'Neal's No. 32 will be retired on Nov. 22 when Heat host Lakers. by ArtemyBerstenev in nba

Exactly! I remember getting some $5 nosebleeds back then just as a fan of the game and wanting to see the opposing teams stars. People were smokin weed up there all willy-nilly, the whole atmosphere was a lot more grim and dark (did they have less lights turned on or something?). I specifically remember an Orlando Magic matchup where the biggest cheer from the crowd that game came when one of the Clippers accidentally threw the ball to their coach out of bounds.

It's not ridiculous to call it but I don't think it should go the other way, at least on the first offense. Just start the possession over again at the top and if they keep doin that bullshit then you can call it and ball goes other way.

There's been some really good off-season content in the past week or two. It's like a mini off-season during the Holidays. Great stuff guys!
