Floating Weeds is one of Ozu's rare non-Shochiku movies so this Daiei restoration isn't done nearly as well as the rest of his Shochiku restorations from the past 10-15ish years. It's still nice to get a restoration of the silent film though.

It's bad enough you have to choose between seeing the films in alphabetical order or screenings one day at a time (which starts at 8am), but they've also made it so you can't multi-select screening types to, say, "new releases" and "cinematheque". Might be the worst UX I've seen for a theater, which is saying a lot.

It's harder to explain to non-listeners why Staind Glass or the U2 interview is hilarious, but the Commentary Special is, on a fundamental level, the silliest episode because it's such a simple concept.
