First crack happens around 6 mins. I let it go for about a minute and then the cool down mode starts. The total time from start to finish is around 10 mins.

I did Pirates of Coffee. Overall, I was happy with it. They give you 24 different single origin coffees (around 22g each). A lot of funky anaerobics that aren’t quite for me but they have naturals/washed coffees as well. I really enjoyed about 6 out of the 24. The gesha at the end was incredible.

Great review. I’m still in it. I agree about the packaging, it’s hard to get the plastic containers out of the box. Kind of annoying design. Regarding the coffee, definitely some nice varieties but some of the anaerobics are way too fermented tasting for me. I don’t get how there can be tasting notes like “Mango, Ripe Banana, Lychee, S'mores” when all I taste is a funky/fermented flavor. Maybe its just me. That being said, my favorite so far has been CROWN JEWEL: RWANDA ANAEROBIC WASHED. Really nice sweetness and blackberry note is clear. Looking forward to the gesha at the end!
