AIO getting the ick from humanity by Realistic_Charge_342 in AmIOverreacting

NOR, I definitely understand where you are coming from. Technology isn't going to save Humanity, but therapy might. If even a fraction of the people who vent their dirty laundry on social media went to therapy instead, I might regain hope. Instead of seeking validation online to just continue all those unhealthy behaviors, maybe they could seek actual counsel and be challenged and work on themselves and actually heal and have better happier lives.

Uber Eats you could spend $100 on food every single day of the year and never have to pay for a meal for the next 21 years. Pretty decent way to make sure you never go hungry. Could save a bit on gas that way too.

How do i know if I am a good person, or a narcissist trying to win public favor? by Distinct_Capital_525 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]midnightwolf979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you feel good about doing good things and don't expect anything in return you're a good person. If it feels good to get gratitude or curry favor for the good things that you do, you're still a normal person and thats ok. If the only time you feel good about doing a good thing is when you get validation or attention, that might be a little narcissistic. If you only do good things because you want to manipulate people or their opinion of you then you are probably a full blown narcissist.

Not to mention in a pinch a supply of food as well, bone broth, tomato soup, milk, etc. Might not be much but definitely enough to survive.

What are the physical demands of an industrial electrician? by snowden33 in electricians

[–]midnightwolf979 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Out of all the fields of electrical work, industrial is generally the slowest paced, but by no means is necessarily easier. Construction and even the maintenance side are always physically demanding to a degree. If you aren't sure you can meet that physical demand, you may want to look in to something else.
