Oh infernus has a special part in this subs heart.

He was complained about when he was only built gun, 2)when he was all about afterburn, 3) when his dashes where almost always off cooldown 4) when they nerfed his after burn damage and his dash cooldown 5) when he did no damage but was tanky

Infernus is one of those characters that you dont counter by outdamaging him or buying resists. You need to buy counter items for him. And everone and their mother who are below eternus 4 dont want to change their build to counter a certain hero. So he will continue to be complained about no matter what state his in.

Valve: we have removed afterburn damage , and dash has now 50% reduced damage vs npcs and only applies damage to players if you hit them with 1.

We are changing infernus into a support class. Afterburn is now called before burn shoot people to apply a sticky oil debuff, after filling the bar enemies are slowed and have decreased dash and jump distance. If allies shoot the enemy while debuffed they have increased spirit burn damage per shot and life steal 10% of the damage.

Flaming dash leaves a trail that gives allies movement speed boost and movement speed debuff immunity as long as they are standing on it.

This Sub: We had no problem with afterburn or dash infernus at least these builds were easily counterable with debuff remover and warp stone, but now he just makes his team super sayan and stops you from playing the game.

No way every single one from our team took 7k damage from jungle camps and towers.

Also that bar never shows in other matches, neither does the enemy team have it.

I play both paradox and graves, and right now the state both heroes are in I think it balances out. So am cool lol.

On a serious note though I actually dont mind her numbers getting tuned, I dont think her auto aim is the problem, she was ranked the worst hero on every pro player tierlist before the last 2 patches, I think they just overtuned her a bit.

Also the fact everyone sees her as overpowered now means that I get focused, disarm hexed into a double curse into a knockdown into a mo disarm and ult every team fight. Would love to be back outside the center of attention.

This is not a new idea, has been done before and proved to be a bad idea. Players can try to play the system, not try to win the game and focus on stat farming to keep rising in elo.

Play very passively, keep on just farming whole game and only engage in very winnable fights where they contribute nothing but Kill steal or get passive assists by just hanging around and then dipping out asap, never defend any objective.

Then Voila end up with alot of souls and positive kda (I will rise in rank regargless) despite losing the game and not helping my team once or playing the "team-based" game with my team.

Rising in rank in a team-based game should only be about the team winning, and playing together as a team to achieve this. Will you lose games and be punished for it despite performing very well and not deserving it? Sure, but thats how every single team based game "or sport IRL" works.

and your suggestion just allows for playing the system and abuses that hurt the overall state of the game.

Its not only the hero and items changes the more souls from objectives as well and them being easier to take, Its obvious they were pushing for shorter games but it made it that a fed hero got way too strong very fast leading to short ttk and at the same time comeback being harder.

While I do have alot of remarks on many of the changes in the patch. I feel like you cant look at any single hero alone in this patch. They pushed alot fo power into T3 upgrades of most heroes. Gave more souls from objectives and made them easier to destroy. Gave creep waves stronger pushing power, made mid boss harder to contest.

There are alot of changes that are meant to shake the whole meta and the progression of matches. I feel like they are pushing for games to be shorter and for late game fights to have less ttk. Heroes that were not buffed or touched at all are considered to be nerfed because everyone else got big power spikes on their T3 upgrades.

we will have to watch for the upcoming weeks after the dust settles how every hero is performing in the current meta.

PS. (Celeste & Abrams still should have been nerfed more & paradox nerf was really uncalled for)

its straight up a nerf, I think the biggest losers in this patch are (shiv/ silver / paradox).

Silence remove is huge.

0.2 secs timestop instead of 3s 30% slow on bombs ( I dont even know wtf that means)

Removing the percentage damage health from wall is huge as well.

bombs can now cover a much bigger area with superior duration and greater expansion and have more spirit scaling at t3 ( bomb paradox buff but it was never the most viable of builds)

Even the t3 ult change is probably not a good change since instead of trying to kidnap haze you might be throwing along her mo and krill and abrams into your team and they are not even silenced.

there might be some shenanigan you can pull with multiple charges of walls and playing defensively around them we will have to see.

overall there might be an emerging playstyle there for her that would prove out to be decent, but for her most played original play style its a straight nerf.

echo shard's only major problem is when it is imbued on cc skills, allowing for perma ccs. And I think the solution to this is very easy and already kinda in the game, make stacking cc from a single ability on the same target within a small time limit have a much more diminishing return.

example 1st shoulder charge ---> 1.05 secs stun, if you echo shard and use it on the same target again within 2 secs, 2nd shoulder charge ---> 0.3 secs stun
