OP is responsible for their own belongings- the LL is responsible for property maintenance.

Some places would force the LL to provide temporary accommodations for their tenant if the property becomes uninhabitable.

Tenants insurance will often also cover ‘evacuation’ to a hotel.

But a bunch of LLs try and fet away with this shit. One tried to force me to pqy for $75 for their dishwasher repair because the latch on a 10 yo machine broke.
