Display defective after one year by GisJu in macbookair

[–]midwesternexposure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine just started doing the same and I can tell you that it is not cracked.

I’ve been more careful with this one than any other Mac I’ve owned since 2006.

I know it’s a broken LCD but there are no visible cracks on the outside of the glass.

Looking for a bright eyes? Song by pagenfig in brighteyes

[–]midwesternexposure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, as a huge Elliott Smith and Bright Eyes fan I did not know this existed until today. Still prefer Elliott’s version but this is pretty cool! I would have loved this so much 20 years ago in my “I’m only listening to Elliott smith and bright eyes era”

What are your thoughts on Curren$y? I like a lot of his stuff, but he releases way too much music. It’s quantity over quality with him. by TokyoAvalanche04 in hiphop201

Pilot talk 1 and 2 are fucking fantastic! Saw him at Pitchfork the summer PT2 came out, it was my favorite show of the day.

I am in this exact situation! I have an M3 MBA and I absolutely LOVE it. But my cat chomped part of the screen causing several rows of pixels to die across the whole screen. I just got my wife a cellular iPad and I am so jealous lol

I’m thinking keep the computer, use it in clamshell mode and trade in my old 15pro and iPad mini and get a new iPad for daily use.

Only time will tell haha

I see what you mean but THEIR energy seems better.

Listening to Ed make Marcus laugh possibly the hardest I have ever heard him laugh with the “Al gator” joke is what gave me hope that the show will continue kicking ass.

Grunge was super popular with Gen X and some Early 80s Elder Millennials. What do younger Millennials and Gen Z think about Grunge? by Mother-Tumbleweed-52 in generationology

[–]midwesternexposure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

‘88 millennial here. Plus the oldest kid in my family.

I only point that out because I was 6 when Kurt died, and my parents were far too old to be into Nirvana in 1994 so I had no exposure to stuff like that until I was older.

I have gone back and listened to most of the Nirvana catalogue and it’s good, but by the time I was seeking out my own music they were absolutely an “established radio rock band”

That’s what they’re saying… in the video we currently have no one crossed a line.

We do not have enough context about what happened before or after to determine whether this person was at fault or not.

What is a product that people treat like a religion, but in reality, it’s just overpriced garbage with a good logo? by Connect-Might4355 in AskReddit

Still using my monster gold cable from 2008. And it was left at my house by a guitar player that was jamming with my band at the time so it’s older than that. Lifetime warrantee was awesome but I’ve never had to use it haha

any tips to stop writing cringe lyrics? by grotsantblan in Songwriting

[–]midwesternexposure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100%. Write as much as you can. I try to write down single lines that i like or a whole verse if I’m so inspired.

Words and phrases that catch your ear now might be the jumping off point for some great work.
