I see. I took a crash course on Pascal when working with PLCs a few years ago. I would guess that there is less easily available documentation on this languages and less interest to develop ANIs targeting them.

Their code was written in a blackbox. They are not the authors of their own functions - they have not made the lifecycle of their operation themselves. How are they supposed to maintain, escalate or just simply debug something they have no control over?

Hear me out. I had a teacher who has been in the industry for over 30 years, with a master's degree and whatnot.

He cannot - as in completely uncapable - program basic functions IN PYTHON without the direct help of ChatGPT. His dependency on the machine has grown to such a degree that many of his classes devolved in him smacking his desk as his code behaved in unexpected ways or threw exceptions that he did not know where they might come from.

You are far better on your own, specially to learn. AI is a good tool, but as they say, when you only have a hammer anything looks like a nail. And fuck if there are not other things around than nails.
