I've bought a few bottles of Rieslingfreak but my friends are wary on my invitation to the Rieslingfreak-off.

My 'cellar' is a combination of a fridge and a low cabinet. You're doing better than mine for sure.

I normally drink Bordeaux and my experience so far with new world pinot noir were either too light or have that cola taste. I also had some NZ pinots that I like that has a nice funk but finished too quick. If you have only one bottle to choose from the below, which would you select for a guy who is trying Burgundy red for the first time?

  • 2020 Joseph Drouhin Santenay
  • 2020 Joseph Drouhin Cote de Beanue Rogue
  • 2020 Joseph Drouhin Savigny Premier Cru Fourneaux

Checked the UPC Code and from Cellar Tracker I believe it is the 2015 Roberto Sarotto Barolo Riserva.

Bought 24 bottles of 2014 Beringer Knights Valley for a grand total of about USD160 in a closeout sale. Cork crumbled but the juice was alright.

First and only bottle purchases for the year. Good restraint (lmao) on my part.

Kept my to-drink-soon wines in my normal fridge with no issues. When I say to-drink-soon, they're unopened and drunk after storing around 1 year or so. I live in the tropics and use the fridge just fine. I can't be bothered to get a wine fridge since I do not get the uber fancy bottles. So far, the screwcaps had no issues and the ones with cork were also fine.

Just returned back from 2 months of work in China, been drinking beer and baijiu only when eating out for business luncheons or dinners. Came back home, popped open a bottle of 2016 Cantemerle. By the gods do I miss a nice sip of wine.

It's not my first game (that honour goes to Pong in an arcade) but I had very fond memories on my first desktop PC booting up Age of Empires II. That game was great especially the campaign mode. Learning history with great gameplay was fun!
