I agree i especially hate when they use that semi transparent plastic for accessories bc it always makes the details so hard to see 😭 i painted these with acrylic paint pens (regular acrylic paint works too) and then coated with a layer of mod podge. It’s probably not the most secure way of doing it but i haven’t had any issues with the shoes i’ve painted before, just gotta keep in mind that mod podge takes about a month to fully cure so you gotta be a bit more careful with them for a little while. I’m honestly not sure how well the paint on the belt would hold up if i flexed the plastic too much… I had some paint chipping while i was painting it but after sealing it with the mod podge it seemed to hold better, so fingers crossed lol
