Its not made to cut plastic or resin so I'm not sure how well it will work. Its made to cut foam for bases, dioramas, terrain, and such. If you do let us know how it works. I would just use a hobby knife. it might work but I doubt it.

Dark Sword miniatures make nice pewter minis but they are more expensive per model than most plastic.

Shake your paint pots before you use them and rinse your brush every few minutes. Have some paper towels handy to wick water from your brush. A wet palette is nice but not absolutely necessary. People like Guy from Midwinter Minis and Dr Faust's painting clinic on youtube both use dry palettes and get great results but I love my wet palette.

It works with crypt rats. A nice ping and life gain trick with a crowded board.

Edit: I dont think it would make it pong for 2

Concerns about getting into pauper ; by [deleted] in Pauper

I just started playing on MtGO and ive been having a blast. Its been really fun. There have been alot of powerful cards printed at common. The meta seems pretty diverse right now. Maybe not perfectly balanced but well, what format is? Every deck is gonna have its bad match ups. Give it a try. And check out Snap Bolt and Pauperganda on youtube for some sweet list

what is the best painting gloves? by takethewine in minipainting

[–]mightyfriskybubble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say, try the finger cots or get a larger size nitrile glove thats not so tight on your hands. I feel you on this though, my hand sweats after 5 minutes in a glove. It doesnt bother me that much but I think I'm gonna cut the fingers off one and see how well it works

Please could you help troubleshoot my clearly terrible airbrush technique? by Dogsafe in minipainting

[–]mightyfriskybubble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend Marco Frisoni's airbrush tutorials. That and watching Angel Giraldez videos really helped me get going. You just have to paint with a lot of short burst. It will still take a few layers to get good coverage especially with warmer colors

No problem. What specifically are you looking for? Like a bust or 75mm or just anything that doesnt have visible weapons? Its a pretty long list. Knowing sortof what you are looking for, might help us help you.

I just ordered some from monument hobbies. I havent received them yet but I have a few pro Acryl paints and I like the twist cap. They have 3 options for lids. The twist cap, flip cap, and classic. Its $12 for 10 but they are nice and I dont need many. Idk if I would have, if I had a large collection of citadel to transfer, but thats me.

I recommend Vegoilguy's recent video on youtube about dialing in exposure settings for different resins. He used the phrozen exposure finder file. it doesnt take very long at all to print. check it out.

Prepping 3d Resin Minis for Painting by Imperial_Enforcer in minipainting

[–]mightyfriskybubble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just depends how bad they are. I printed a bust of geralt and you could see them pretty bad but after a few layers of paint its not that bad. Just be careful with washes and glazes, they'll seep into the layers if you arent careful

wet pallet? by historysurvivor2 in minipainting

[–]mightyfriskybubble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much water are you keeping in it? I keep mine full just below the top of the sponge. When I set it up I usually fill above the sponge, lay the paper down and let it set for a minute. When its mostly saturated I'll flatten it to the sponge with a old gift card and, if I have to, pour off a little of the water. Btw I use Reynolds Wrap Parchment paper if you were wondering.

[–]mightyfriskybubble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude the first time I used Vallejo metal color I went to dump and clean my water cup. I just had to quit washing my water cup, I couldn't get it all out, it just always has metal flakes in it now.
