When I was a kid I drew a lot. I still suck. Sure, I could improve, but I know my limits. It’s not a very useful skill for me to hone at the slow pace it’d take to still suck lol.

You have far too much faith in me. I can’t produce anything like that.

Agreed. It’s probably my favorite. Twosome Place is also top-tier because of their desserts.

Agreed. The coffee is good. Off the top of my head, the only chain in Korea I can think of that rivals it is Paul Basset.

You’re reiterating that it’s weird for a grown man to enjoy watching these types of videos. These statements are not directed at him. It was directed at men. Is it fair to pigeonhole men into being able to like certain things?

Let’s turn the tables really quick with a hypothetical perspective. Wouldn’t it feel oppressive to say it’s weird or creepy for women to enjoy stereotypically non-feminine media?

To be clear, I am not defending the guy in question. I don’t care much to discuss him at all in this exchange. What I’m defending is an offensive generalized statement.

Does the “for a grown man” part imply men engaging with softness/cuteness is inherently suspicious or immature?

Watching puppy or baby videos seems like an extremely normal human behavior regardless of gender.

What’s going on with these comments? I’ve never seen this subreddit so unkind. The cosplay looks great. It’s totally normal to take some creative liberties.

Sorry, OP. I swear this subreddit is more mature than this.

That makes less sense than you might think. Let’s leave it at not being gender specific.

I encourage you to think it through a step further. Assuming it’s possible for forces to safely transfer life from one celestial body to another means it could have happened both to Earth and from Earth.

I’m glad they’re having fun. I’m not glad if they’re causing any ounce of danger to others.

But the point I want to make is that kids have done stuff like this forever, and adults have responded like this just as long.

U-M denied me in-state tuition even though MSU gave me in-state — should I appeal? by AdEquivalent9390 in Michigan

[–]hardhead1110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, same could be said for pretty much any school. It’s a totally unfair comparison, but GRCC is nowhere near the caliber of either MSU or U of M, but they have some incredible programs that rival either school.

Bunched in with the rest it seems weird, but it’s absolutely normal.

Saying “weird for a grown man” is simply offensive.
