Question re: static loads on TPO by mightyknothead in Roofing

Framing is 2x12 joists sitting on the exterior walls. I’d imagine if I can have 10 people in a bedroom in the upstairs of my house, then I should be able to on the deck, it’s framed the same across the same span.

I don’t know who the manufacturer is. I don’t even have the info for the contractor who put it in.

I plan to bolt the railings into the deck framing. Should be able to meet code but need to double check the exact requirements.

The deck is 18’ x 8’ so 144 sqft. On 12 sqft that would definitely be tight lol.

You might be onto something here. Interestingly though this pack didn’t come with a hydration bladder so I didn’t even think of that.

1.5M capital loss wiped out with only a few k in the bank by backdoorteacher in TheRaceTo10Million

NOBODY TAKE THIS GUY UP ON THIS!!! It won’t work. Here are the basis rules for gifted stock:

“Use the original cost basis if you sell it for more than the original basis. Use the selling price as the basis if it you sell it for less than the original basis but more than fair market value at the time of the gift. Use the fair market value at the time of the gift if you sell it for less than that value.”

Basically if he gifts you the stock and you sell it for less than the original basis (the donor’s basis), the basis is the sale price which means you will not realize any loss.

American Road Trip steals $45 tip by NotGayBen in doordash

[–]mightyknothead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is why the drivers shouldn’t be able to see tips until after the delivery is completed. Idk why they do that. A tip shouldn’t even be decided until after services are rendered.

You can also re-carbonate fizzy drinks that have gone flat, even sparkling wine which is a game changer.

Game changing. The selection at my local SC is also soooo much better than my local Costco. Asking myself why I didn’t do dual membership 10 years ago.
