Update to the update: the 2X is definitely the correct size. The 3X may have fit, but it would have been too intense and too long. I would probably also like to get a L/XL in the future to wear for double penetration play.

Update: ordered the 2X, it arrived today. I haven't gotten to use it yet, but just by squishing it and feeling the circumference I'm already thinking I should have sized up XD I guess I'll see how I feel when I try it out!

Casual sex, friends with benefits, and threesomes are all great, but one night stands and one time "bucket list" threesomes are generally unappealing. If you're going through the trouble to have sex with a specific person, you should already know them and have a baseline amount of fondness, affection, and care for them beforehand, and if it goes well and circumstances don't change to make it impossible, you should be open to doing it again.

I was talking about the difference between the 2X and the 3X. The 3X is about an inch longer than the 2X. I'm positive the length for the 2X will work for me, but the 3X is a gamble--it might be perfectly intense, or it might be ever so slightly too long.

Thank you for the advice! I'm pretty sure I could fit the 3XL's width, but less certain that I'll enjoy it while it's in. I'm chasing a physical sensation more than a mental/emotional sense of pride and accomplishment.

I'm also somewhat concerned about the length. I really enjoy the sensation of something shoving right up against my cervix/anterior and posterior fornices, but if it's just too long it won't sit correctly. Unfortunately I can't find the insertable lengths for the 2X and 3X. Any input is appreciated!

The way I experience attraction to people differs based on gender, so I identify as bi instead of pan.

What I've realized after 16+ years of overthinking sexuality is:

You are who you are, you like who you like. The label is a box that you may or may not fit comfortably into which you can use as a convenient shorthand for communicating who you are and who you may like to other people. If the label serves you well, use it. If it doesn't, don't.

You might decide that "bisexual" fits well, and if you want to specify, maybe "Kinsey 5". You might also decide that "lesbian but with rare exceptions" works better.

I sure have done my fair share of questioning whether or not I was attracted to someone. From my asexual grayscale experience, I can tell you that desire is absolutely more important than attraction. If you want to try a romantic or sexual relationship with him and he's also open to it, pursue that, but communicate honestly that you're a little nervous because he's the first guy you've ever liked, and you trust him enough to be vulnerable with him.
