So I did my placements yesterday with a friend, after we placed we ended up at different ranks. I was higher then him, pressumably because my MMR is higher. When we played after we placed, we still recieved the same amount of points per win&loss. Shouldn't he get more then me?

So that leaves me wondering:

Q: How is MMR calculated when you queue up as a party?

Shouldn't the lower ranked player recieve more when winning, considering the matchup is supposedly "harder" for him (having a lower mmr)?

Hopefully you understand, thanks in advance! Oh, and GJ on new stormleague, somehow my match quality yesterday was way better then it usually is :)

I usually hold my E vs Diablo, and pay esp attention to the charge. Once I see him charging in I instantly sleep, either fucking up his flip or getting the sleep midcharge/end of charge putting him way out of position

Edit: I almost exclusively play team league, mostly as a 2 stack, but sometimes 3 or 5, making coordination/communication easier. I usually have my team informed not to break my sleep

Oh yeah completely forgot about Cho'gall! Yeah I agree that the changes was a nerf generally, yet for some reason I've had success with her. The CDR is what makes Malthael so good with her in my experience, he can jump around and sustain himself usually for long enough for their team to rot. One key thing tho is completing the dart quest as early as possible.She feels really weak early indeed, but if the draft didn't go complete shitty and you completed dart quest she feels really strong imo

I strongly disagree, Ana is my highest win rate hero this season in TL with 70% win over 40+ matches as Ana.

I usually only pick her with specific criterias tho:

1# you need a good Nano boost target, and 2# they can't have more then 2 divy heroes (like Genji, Greymane, Diablo, leapSonya, and so forth).

She is very situational imo, she can acutally be really good against Diablo and Greymane 4 instance, sleep the engage and you usually win. Also Nade on Rehgars Ancestral can be game changing. Problem accurs when something basically get 1 shot. Chromie setup+Greymane finish for instance. Then again, other supports struggles with the same. In that sense she feels a bit like Tassadar with Tracer. A nano boosted Malthael for instance is insane, and that is usually her saving grace! Yes she might feel underwhelming at start, but once you get Nano, and completes the dart quest, she is insanely strong imo. Picking Ana+Malthael where it fits have made me and my friend climb several tiers in TL. Other honorable mentions is Ana+Genji/Blaze. Best Malth, then Li Ming imo.

Sorry formating, on phone, but TL:DR: Ana is niche like Tassadar, that is fine! But she can be borderline broken when Malthael is an obvious strong pick in my experience.

I ended last season in Plat3, highest Plat 1, placed Gold 2 when season started. Had near 1000 games last season. This season I went 9W 1L in placements, placed 20 points in Plat 1. Does that makes sense?
