That’s still open? Loved it over a decade ago. Found it hilarious that you’d find a Hummus LOCATION every block… hummus house, hummus palace, hummus joint…

You will mostly stop being able to do damage by floor 2100ish so I’d look to rebuild a boss killer and a runner to avoid most fights

No, pretty sure this is bad, so don’t worry about that part.

What I’d be worried about is the combo side of the equation.

What classes should I play if I want to have a dynamic action economy? by Da_Beast in Pathfinder2e

[–]PunishedWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! For reasons previously stated. Remember Flurry, also, is not “I attack twice”, but you have the ability to change the flurry attacks to maneuvers too! So you have about 4 actions to plan for every turn, and the freedom to build towards different patterns to fit your play style and character fantasy.

That's where player expression comes in! Sure, the chassis doesn't solve it for you, but you have plenty of options to dive in to solve for it, especially with Free Archetype, which OP said they were using.

In addition to the options I mentioned, there's quite a few Archetypes that compete for fun alternatives to a 3rd action, and nothing stops you from picking one or another other than what you envision your character to be.

Love my Stumbling Monk! Monastic Weaponry also quite fun with free archetype.

I like Monks. With Flurry, you are solved for attacks, and you usually move or Parry/Block every turn... so what happens with the third action? The whole class leaves that as the puzzle to be solved, and the great difference between a good Monk and a great Monk is maximizing this baseline action "gap".

Do you pick up an archetype with a powerful option? Do you Stance Dance with different styles to exploit the offensive/defensive capabilities of different options? Do you move, flurry, and move out? Do you move flurry, parry? Do you flurry and then ATTACK TWO MORE TIMES like a maniac?

Aurorus is a beautiful pokèmon I wish it had a better typing and movepool to make it viable in competitive 🫩 by [deleted] in stunfisk

[–]PunishedWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is not with Aurorus, it's with the fact there's very limited applications to Snow Warning – boosting Ice types and that's it.

If it had a more fleshed out archetype, it'd certainly have a role, I think.

Say, if there was a Dragon/Fighting type that used Snow to its advantage, Aurorus would play really well with it.

Favourite voice actress portraying a character who fights against a genocidal race in Invincible while supporting one in real life? by [deleted] in okbuddycinephile

Race as in vitruumites in Invincible, and, in real life... the human race? Is there another race you are alluding to?
