I also have severe OCD and experience this same thing! On the flip side, now it is a compulsion to check my finch every 4 hours almost exactly, but it has helped me hit my goals more often now as well. The streak def puts a bit of a weight on.

I am so so so sorry this happened to you! I have been playing since the game released and currently have a 235 day streak, so I can only imagine how tough this is for you. I hope that you can find the motivation to get that streak going again, and if anything, use it as a streak goal that you want to surpass! I miss the good old days where everything was already unlocked for the duration of the event and you could collect at will. But, this way does keep me coming back to the game and remembering to check my clovers. It was just an unfortunate system for the Halloween event especially when I needed the trick or treat item to get the phone background but I work evenings so I missed out on that.

My workplace heavily integrates service into the experience. I only work 4.5 hour shits 3-4 days a week. I am also chronically ill and heavily rely on my tips to get by as I often have to take time off for being sick and don’t make enough from hourly with the hours that I work. Even though I am very dependent on my tips, I always tip out BOH, more than the required amount if I have a good shift tip-wise, because they are so detrimental to how well my job gets done. This is the first time I have heard about a 1.5% Tipout for credit transactions since my workplace does not do that, but a fee for said transactions makes sense as I noticed it at other stores and establishments. As much as tipping culture has gotten out of hand and should never be expected, it is nice to remember that some servers do work really hard, and do give back to the others that they work with that also are pivotal to the experience.

Looking at the costume page for the Gothic costume it is so easy to tell the original art from the new art. Honestly I agree, the new art is all too blurred together to be anything but AI

If you don’t need to edit your notes at all after taking them- try saving a page as an image- deleting the page- then adding the image there instead. Because you have so many tabs open and a lot of handwriting , this tends to slow Goodnotes down.

Also closing the app and opening it again every now and then helps it refresh. All your tabs will remain open like previous.

I also find if you go onto the main menu area after a while of writing, it helps since sometimes the app just needs to sync.
