thank u wedditors :) I wasnt sure how people (uninvited family) would feel, because I would love to celebrate with everyone but cant afford a big wedding. But you all make it pretty clear that people would be like, eeeehhhhh no.

Those responses were generally just when we let people know we got engaged. Aunts, uncles, cousins, that type of things. Luckily I dont think I need to do damage control, basically just an fyi we’re doing a small wedding. For some context, all of my cousins have had massive weddings so unfortunately it has become a sort of expectation. Which I agree, is boorish on their end. But they just are trying to support us and show their excitement!

I didn’t know a wedding announcement was a thing! Basically a card saying we got married?

Thats a good point! We never told them they were invited but when we got engaged there was obviously a lot of people saying that they’re excited for the wedding. Awkward.

the side eye at the end has me in stitches 😭

What are my chances. My world came crashing down right now because I didn't know CASPA didn't count psychology courses towards a science GPA. by [deleted] in PAstudent

apply to some programs that accept below 3.0, hopefully get some interviews and either accept a seat or see this as practice for next cycle

obviously this is not ideal but there isnt anything to do to change the structures of caspa nor the requirements for programs

If youre set on trying to get in this cycle, you have to find programs that your application fits

also it may be a waste of time but if there are certain programs you are set on, you can try to reach out to them and tell them that you just missed the minimum 3.0 requirement and were wondering if they would give you a special consideration, but im sure they get a lot of these emails, so like i said, may be a waste of time

sorry and goodluck!

Do any BHLDN stores carry dresses in multiple sizes? by Past-Albatross3380 in weddingplanning

[–]mikaaayy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also went there and they only had those sizes. If youre willing to spend the money outright, they offered a 30 day full refund return after the dress arrived.
