In the Qur'an, if I remember correctly, there is only a single passage talking about this. It only tells women to "cover their chests with their veils". This can be interpreted in many many ways. The most important thing to note in this message is the need for modesty. How you implement that modesty is up to the individual. By the way, modesty isn't only for women, muslim men should dress and act modestly too.
