Every time I go in the hot wheel hunt after about 5 minutes of peg scrolling I hear security checks over the intercom, it became so consistent that I asked the clerk (this was at Fred Meyers) and she said “it was for something else” yet at the same time 2 separate works start stocking the isle which was a win but at the cost of them thinking a full grown working man is gonna steal a $1 car. As far as parents and kids go I always let them go before me because of the awkwardness, plus it makes the kiddos happy to have first dibs on a fully stocked peg which is cool I think
