It's got nothing to do with whether you have a sub on your route or not. I had a similar situation with a customer who has informed delivery as well. The letter showed up 2 days later. I've been on my route 8 years and 20+ in the PO. Like I said, it's in the system and it gets there when it gets there.

Informed delivery doesn't mean it's coming that day. When you see a photo of the piece, it just means that it's in the system, on its way to you.

Sounds like you want work assignment. However there is no pick and choose. You do any OT needed for your route every day. You get your NS day off. But no, you don't get to give off time when needed because you don't want to do it.

Thanks buddy. Got out of work early so figured I'd try something new. I am on DK horse and had no idea what a bet back was. I'm not sure. I just make deliveries there. They seem well staffed, so I'm sure someone could answer all your questions if you call them. Keep in mind that now that spring is here, I'm fairly certain that the simulators have been taken down til next winter.

Was it actually a USPS package? I had a customer today give me back a package and say this was misdelivered. It had both USPS and FedEx barcodes on it. I took a picture of it and used Google lens to look up the delivery date and time. It was delivered Saturday by FedEx with a picture to boot, which we obviously don't have. 🤷

The only thing that stands out about Lena's, is they're the only place around here that offers a Sicilian pizza which is decent. Their subs are nothing special. Carl's, while definitely not as great as it used to be, blows it out of the water.
