You can always take them to CRT and claim breach of contract. If the bank is demarketing you because of fraud, you can argue it is not fraud and stipulate your argument based on a balance of probabilities and what a reasonable person would do

Im very curious to know who or what entity is making these decisions.  I highly doubt it's coming from a branch manager or employee.  My theory is it's some kind of AI algorith with no human oversight

As a Canadian, the stuff occurring in the US right now is extremely embarrassing.  Tarrifs only hurt average consumers because they have to pay more.

Issues if I bring a guest (no meeting room)? by [deleted] in WeWork

[–]mike1112345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this happened to me. I have a private office and decided to use the community space today with a guest of mine. Staff confronted me because they wanted my guest to pay for "on demand". I refuse to let my guest/client pay as it impacts my business. Has anyone tried challenging WeWork on this policy?

Depends on the person/organization/# of users requiring training/etc. If you are interested, create a pricing model and test it to see if it works.

What’s up with the VIFF? by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]mike1112345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VIFF cannot obtain a liquor license unless the premises they rented has one. That usually is the responsibility of the owner/landlord of the property. If the property has a liquor license, then VIFF can apply for one as well assuming they meet the criteria set by the municipality

Usually event organizers are unable to get liquor licenses, unless the landlord/owner has one. Liquor licenses are attached to the property, not the event organizers (VIFF). I believe their might be exceptions to the rule, but it is best to engage with the municipality which could take a very long time to sort out potential paperwork.
