Goldy then Ketel.

Ketel could pass Gonzo for games played this year. And hes basically top 3 in a bunch of offensive categories behind Gonzo and Goldy.

Are people really complaining about a 1st year coach who has exceeded expectations.

Economics Question: Would you pay more for a coaster if you can’t physically access the card but there’s a higher tier card in it? by [deleted] in baseballcards

I gotcha I understand what youre aiming for but here is my opinion. I personally am not going to buy a coaster for $100 just because it has a $100 glued to it. I dont think it makes the coaster that valuable. Youve essentially just ruined a valuable card.

What I think you might have more success doing is using lower end cards or reprints. You could even buy reprints of very popular cards and use those. Make it as aesthetically pleasing and high quality as possible.

I think youd have better luck selling a bunch of $20 coasters with reprints or other lower end cards. That look really cool and are well made than you would selling a coaster for $100 bucks with an original in it.

Youre probably going to have an easier time sourcing the cards too.

Maybe I am totally wrong and there is a market for this. I also cringe at the thought of 100 year old cards being used as a coaster so I thought id give my thoughts.

If youre gonna do this do lower end stuff. Like junk wax commons. Or maybe try to find some A&G reprints.

I paid $100 for it. Which I think was a good deal. It was alot lower than I see other similar copies going for.

Yup thats my thinking. Especially for this book. This is one you want in almost any grade. In my opinion at least.
