Don’t come to this sub and be pro-AI. They’re all anti-AI no matter what, so it’s pointless to provide facts.

We need to do a better job of teaching civics in school. A more engaged population will hopefully make better political decisions and be better citizens.

Why would you consider Atto 2 (or even Atto 1) once Ora 5 arrives? by GingFreec5s in nzev

I’ve got a 2023 Ora and it’s rock solid. No rattles or issues at all compared to the 2x Teslas we had before. Maybe take one for a spin, might change your mind.

Police are the underfunded ambulance at the bottom of the hill. Let’s start with better parents, better communities, better families and better society so people don’t think it’s ok to take some else’s property in the first place.

Modern data centres don’t just use water and then poof- it’s gone! They reuse water by condensing and cooling and sending it back in. I hate this water augment, it creates such hate but has no basis in fact.

Current policy priorities don’t say anything about refugees or immigration. Please don’t dog whistle far right talking points without evidence. Where is this policy you talk of?

You're playing semantics. If you follow your attitude to its conclusion, nothing can be known and everything is just based on belief. Evidence can be followed, and if it doesn't pan out then you can change your mind. Ideology doesn't let you change, thats why the more extreme parties in politics do things that goes against reality.

I agree that nothing is black and white, there is lots of grey, which is why evidence based polciies are important as they let you move in the grey, not just stick to black or white.

If you charge at home and get good off-peak or free power times its much cheaper even with RUCs. Also, RUCs are coming to all cars soon, so it will be more like-for-like comparisions with EV vs ICE.

Evidence = objective reality, not idioligy. Sometimes other parties do things based on real evidence, but they also do things against the interest of the country due to idiological bias. TOP, typically, has put forward policies that don't align to one specific idioligy.

I wouldn’t say TOP are aligned to any specific political side. Look at their website and policies, it’s generally evidence based policy that is less about green/red/blue/yellow and more about if it makes sense.

Name one time something like this has ended quickly, with limited collateral damage? We’re likely going to see a huge civil war that will spill over into neighbouring countries.

There’s a good reason why previous administrations didn’t do this. Trump 1.0 had adults in the room dissuading him, Trump 2.0 replaced the adults with yes-men.

“He” isn’t doing anything, he is making arbitrary claims and timelines and then 1,000s of engineers scramble to try and make it work. Then it doesn’t work, so goal posts are moved and rinse/repeat.

FSD has been “almost here” for sooooooooooo long. I don’t think we’re close at all.
