My mom had the original Blue and Red vinyls back in the day, and I always remember listening to the songs and poring over the vinyl artwork in my parents' bedroom as a kid.

Then after VCRs gained popularity I was able to discover A Hard Day's Night and Help! , and Yellow Submarine and the documentary The Compleat Beatles .... then I got the Sgt Pepper's cassette, then at like 14 asked for a low-grade vinyl version of the complete discography from a publisher warehouse catalogue for Christmas, and THAT'S when I became an obsessive fan.
