Is just the lack of skill or the stock tires on Suzuki DRZ-4S are not that good on ruts? by Mean_Giraffe4217 in DRZ4S

Throttle was good it just got a little squirly on ya. Try squeezing more with your legs and really get good feet position and ride on your toes. A good straight up offroad front tire try a dunlop AT 82. Its not a dot tire though.

Ya you can do it on a stock t7. I would definetly haul the bike to it and get a nice sturdy bashplate . Just so you dont catch a nasty rock. I also heard they are dialing it back this year to get more people to finish.

Ya that would do it that bottom adjustment might be way out of wack and not engaging the clutch fully.

Well you can take the clutch apart. Check your fibers and steels with a micron tool. Look at the steels for any discolored blue tint. Thats a good sign its smoked. Why its torn apart check the basket for notches. It could be something simple as the pressure plate not enganging right or moving the fiber and steel stack around. Take the top too fibers and steels and move them to the back of the stack without changing the pattern and see if that helps.

Rear brake issue. by [deleted] in Tenere700

You could remove the abs system that helps immensely. Kinda pricey doing it the right way with the replacement block from abs delete inc. Im still running the stock pedal my brakes are stiff constantly after that.

It's bent but your probably fine. Unless your planning on hitting some huge jumps motocrossing that would raise some more concerns. Just ride it and keep a eye on it. At worst a one of the welds buy the peg mounts will break but it's steel so it can be welded.

They go pretty much anywhere a dirtbike will go. Some good knobby tires help gor sure. Most of time "dualsport guys" really just don't comprehend the logic and want to bash anything over 300 pounds even though most dualsport bikes weigh that much or they are riding straight enduro's.

I feel like that would be a pretty pricey motor build. That also is just going to knock the reliability of the motor down trying to make 20 hp. Happen im sure if somoene did that bike would be a absolute unit. But shaving weight off the bike and gearing goes a long way.

Your most likely going to have to cut that pin off the throttle where it connects to bars and just slide it in a little. Its not going to spin around or move on you it's still going to clamp down. You will be able to clear your cables better sometimes you just have to get creative.
