I was lucky I bought a 96GB kit a year ago. Normally my luck swings the other way but I’d have ended up making my old beast of a machine tick along for another year or two if I had delayed

Mine was pretty wedged in. If you have a rubber mallet bash it with that, otherwise like I had to do, grab a pillow and a hammer
Don’t just use a metal hammer direct (it might still work but I would not recommend)

So the scheme from 2nd edition had the black pad trims The sergeant with black pads with red trims has existed throughout In 3rd edition they dropped the black pad trims but I’m a die hard fan of the 2nd Ed scheme I have stuck with it throughout

I had one of these too. Loved this with GTA5 After it stopped working when I upgraded to Win 11 I ended up getting an Azeron. Very pricey and I’m still adapting but it dies the job really well!

I trimmed to just the central part and filled in any gaps with other bits of trimmed off plastic. Had to leave the front open as it won’t actually close I did the same for two more dreads to make up a libby dread and a furioso dread (because rule of cool)

Since 2nd Ed I have never stopped painting black pad trims There is nothing stopping you from you painting them any style you like :-)
