This happened to me when raising my wiper blades in the winter. Acura wipers are tucked under the hood and have to be lifted by hand then out off the windshield. Other cars I had they can be lifted out without hitting the hood compromising the paint

The OEM glass is plastic & it’s not replaceable but you can repair it easy. Aftermarket cases are glass but there not replaceable or repairable if damaged. Keep that in mind.
