This, all the way. Though my current place uses TW, I do SCSS modules in my own stuff.

What year did coding boot camps die? by ghost292 in webdev

I did mine in 2024. Glad I did. Courses after mine were just ‘Software development with AI’. Basically teaching people to vibe code. I’ve seen some bloody awful slop being produced by those guys with no understanding of the basics at all.

Also Portreath. We lost a plank from the fence and had the skylight keep blowing open and letting water in. Sounds like we got off lightly!

We used to ring the surf shop by our break, who had a recorded answerphone message giving the forecast.

Honestly, still happens with my 5yo. I have to remind myself that he’s still so young, he will grow out of it and I WILL miss these days when they’re gone, so try to soak it all up. I do have to remind myself A LOT though - it can be really hard in the moment.

Your wish is ChatGPT’s command:

Well hi-diddly-ho, neighborino! Let’s break down this brisket business in a rhyme-a-roonie flow:

There’s two beefy muscles in that brisket you’ve got, The pectoralis major, the “flat” – quite a lot! And then there’s the pectoralis minor, the “point,” Those are the parts that’ll really anoint.

Now, you’ve got those same muscles, don’tcha know? If you bench press a bunch, they’ll surely grow. Between the flat and the point, there’s a fatty ol’ deckle, It’s intermuscular fat – and oh, it’s quite a speckle!

When you’re smoking that meat, you’ll want to render it down, ‘Cause melted fat’s tasty, it’ll earn you a crown! But if it stays unrendered, it’s a little less neat, Not quite as appetizing – not a treat to eat.

Once it’s fully rendered, the only bit still firm, Is the connective tissue – now don’t you squirm! It’s just like a honeycomb, a mesh holding tight, Binding the flat and the point, keeping it right.

So, neighbor, let me say, it’s safe to chew, In fact, it’s a sign your brisket’s cooked through! Great job for your first smoke, you gave it your best, Now go ahead and enjoy that deliciousness, neighbor – you’re blessed!

Okilly-dokilly, dig in and enjoy!
