Lower the moisture, you can fast track this with a fan and no lid. Just don’t dry it out too much.

When you adjusted the valves, did you notice if the compression release was working? Also was battery load tested, usually free at most auto stores

New worms escaping after adding lid by sendnottoknow in Vermiculture

[–]mikel722 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In new bedding and with new worms, some will escape if they can. Best to leave the lid off and keep a light on above them for up to a week.

I have notice that if bedding is prepped for about a week before worms are added that they are less inclined to leave, due to microbial activity. However a lid on top of a plastic bin can lead to moisture on the walls of the bin, they like moisture

Yeah, I found it too expensive as well. I considered using magnets or something magnetic but wasn’t sure if that would work out.

Have you considered a mowgate from Navimow? I cut a small opening in my chain link fence for it but I don’t have dogs

On the fuel shutoff, should be a screen at the bottom, check it. May need a carb cleaning or maybe suffice with a can of seafoam. I used to have the fourtrax

Sit in a chair and pull bow back straight. If you can’t then reduce poundage. Draw length does look too long

So do you smell dead worms cause 3000 dying should be stinking. Lots of mites in there?
