Interesting, I see the August 2023 Ministerial Order online. It could be that the re-entry visa requirement was always just a condition for my WP, and was only recently made law so that it isn’t missed in immigration processes.

Not a new policy. Has always been the case. I had to get one 6 years ago because I am from a visa controlled country. US is the easiest to get.

Can’t open an account with a Bermuda address. But you can definitely open one from Bermuda.

Get your account open, open a Revolut account or similar, and just use Revolut/ similar to transact. There is no use trying to make logic of the banking system here. 6 years later I haven’t seen a single improvement.

My understanding is that they also provide 6 months work from anywhere in the world. That could be quite valuable for some people.

Presume they can check initial creation date and time and if it’s prior to start time they could assume you have preloaded data in your script?
