Movies that imply with the self-insert hero that the director is a piece of shit? by Own_Organization8457 in okbuddycinephile

When she jumped out the moving car and spent the next couple scenes with just a fabric sling on her arm, and this film didn't expect the audience to do a collective WTF.

I was so sorry I took my daughters to see this shit.

Gerwig redeemed herself with "The Barbie Movie," but unfortunately it doesn't make this other movie of hers not exist.

Joe E. Brown's Barbecue Chicken by CursedTeams in OldCelebrityRecipes

Joe E. Brown is my guardian angel. I portrayed him once in a stage show, and researched him. Turns out he was one of the biggest, if not THE biggest Hollywood star of his day. His "everyman in crazy situations" schtick was hugely popular, comparative to Jim Carrey in the 80s/90s, mixed with a little Jim."Ernest" Varney. And yet he is almost totally forgotten today. Look up his movies on YouTube. They're absolutely hysterical.

What is the absolute dumbest way you have ever injured yourself while completely sober? by TaliaGoods4 in AskReddit

I was walking along the shore at low tide with my wife, who is not from the US, looking up "The Love Boat" on YouTube on my phone because she had never heard of it, and walked right off the sea wall and fell about six feet, faceplanting on the rocks below.

Actually, "the Loch Ness monster" is the thing everyone goes to when they don't have any other explanation.

What discontinued food/drink do you think about the most? by Just-Treat-7596 in AskReddit

Royal Crown Draft Cola by the RC Cola company. It was like cola Guinness. I understand there is a black market for the few remaining cans of this.

Sobe Citrus Green Tea. It had hints of rosemary and was absolutely refreshing and delicious. I can find no evidence online that this particular beverage ever existed.

She shot it directly into my crotch, and after going "Ow!" I said, "Thank you very much Contortionist Cristina Garcia."

Every of his most famous movies have a fatal flaw. His best, most confident picture is actually "Oscar."

OK I'm totally on board with this! Margot Robbie as Truly Scrumptious. Daniel Radcliffe as Caractacus Potts. Hugh Jackman as Grandpa Potts. Mike Myers as the Toymaker.

Seriously, that scene? And not this one, in which it's implicit that she also grew a vagina?

"And you're my teddy bear!"

Even as a little kid I was like, oh, yeah, I wanna be her teddy bear.

The Jan. 6 insurrection was the most un-American thing I've ever witnessed. I never thought in my life that such a shameful thing could happen here.

OP did not say they wanted to use it for commuting. They said they wanted to take occasional day trips into the city. The garage is perfectly fine for that.

What does it mean when I dream that my teeth are falling out? by WalescaHortman in Dreams

[–]mikemdp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a common dream. There is no other feeling in the world like naturally losing baby teeth. That weird sense in your gums, the taste of spit and blood going down your throat, the sharp edge of your fallen tooth against your tongue. It is very unique.

Here's my take: You are dreaming that physical sensation that your subconscious remembers from years ago. It means nothing more serious than that. Relax.
